linocut

The inscribed lines of lacework within the graphic Linocut shawl evoke the deep carvings of this traditional printmaking technique. Featuring a modular motif too alluring to limit to one shape, this pattern comes written and charted for both a triangle shawl and a rectangular wrap in two sizes. Elegant three-dimensional geometry cuts a field of raised garter lace throughout, echoing the dip and curve of traditional horseshoe cables. An optional Icelandic Bind Off accentuates Peerie’s plump stitches and gives your lace space to shine.
