Destined to be a cozy staple in your winter wardrobe, Mason is my idea of a perfect throw-over-everything pullover. Knit up in worsted weight Forge in delightfully squishy brioche rib, Mason pairs distinctive sleeve shaping and a graphic traveling rib pattern with an easy, wearable silhouette.

MATERIALS 
1325 (1410, 1520, 1615, 1705, 1800, 1880, 2005, 2080, 2175) yds [1210 (1290, 1390, 1475, 1560, 1645, 1720, 1835, 1900, 1990) m] worsted weight yarn required;
6 (6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 8, 9, 9, 10) skeins Hudson +West Co. Forge (70% American Merino wool, 30% American Corriedale wool; 235 yards [215 m]/100 grams); photographed in color Tobacco

GAUGE 
15 stitches & 23 (visible) rows = 4″ [10 cm] in brioche rib on Size A needles, after blocking
Note: Row gauge for brioche is taken by counting the rows visible on the RS; two rows will need to be worked for each visible row.

SUGGESTED NEEDLES 
Size A (for body & sleeves): US 6 [4 mm]: 32” [80 cm] or longer circular needle.
Size B (for neckband): US 4 [3.5 mm]: 20” [50 cm] circular needle.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

DIFFICULTY 
Intermediate: Skills required include brioche stitch; increasing and decreasing; seaming; picking up stitches, circular knitting; tubular cast on and bind off.

NOTES
This garment is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up, then sewn together. The neckband is picked up and worked circularly.
